Greg Carnes, Chief Executive Officer
Greg joined EMS|MC in October 2015, bringing more than 28 years of experience in the healthcare and government sectors. Prior to joining EMS|MC, Greg was Executive Vice President at SourceHOV. He has a vast background in operations, finance, business development, and consulting across a number of industries, with a particular focus on healthcare. Prior to his tenure at SourceHOV, Greg spent three years in senior leadership at Accenture after spending more than 22 years at EDS (Electronic Data Systems), where he had a diverse career culminating in leadership roles covering overall business unit leadership, global IT and process solution development, as well as business development for all of North America. Greg earned his undergraduate degree in finance from the University of Michigan, and an MBA at Wayne State University.
Kim Stanley, CHC – Chief Customer Officer
Kim is a leading expert in EMS reimbursement practice and policy and brings over 18 years of reimbursement and regulatory compliance experience to EMS|MC. Her primary focus at EMS|MC is to ensure that our billing practices are delivered in a compliant manner for our clients. She was formerly employed with CIGNA Medicare as the TN, NC, and ID Medicare Part B contractor. She served as the EMS liaison working in conjunction with the Centers for Medicare/Medicaid Services (CMS) on various reimbursement committees to develop Ambulance Medicare policy, and was instrumental in the development and deployment of the National Fee Schedule. She served as a primary resource to the ambulance providers of NC, TN and ID and the State EMS Directors Associations before, during, and after the implementation of the Fee Schedule. Working on the provider side now, she continues to serve as a national advocate and resource for EMS providers through several local and state advisory groups and reimbursement committees. Kim holds her CAC certification from the NAAC and currently sits on the Board of Trustees for the Virginia Fire Chiefs Foundation.
Allan Logie, Chief Performance Officer
Allan has been with EMS|MC since 2003 and serves in strategic planning, technical, financial and process improvement capacities. Allan plays a vital role in analytical data management and qualitative/quantitative trending and benchmarking for our clients. Prior to EMS|MC, Allan was Vice President/General Manager of Unifi, Inc.’s non-woven division where he directly participated in the division’s sale and all operational aspects following the acquisition. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Wake Forest University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Jake Vizner, Chief Information Officer
Jake joined EMS|MC in September 2014 with 20 years of experience providing technology solutions for start-ups, Fortune 500 companies, and multi-billion dollar organizations in the healthcare and financial industries. At EMS|MC, Jake provides strategic IT analysis and vision for improving technology processes that increase internal efficiencies and the performance of clients. Jake has a master’s degree from Slovak University of Technology. Other experience includes senior management positions with LendingTree.com, Transamerica Reinsurance and Premier Inc., where he led the enterprise development projects for large healthcare clients. He is an advisory board member for Aspicio Health, a population health software start up.
Kate Pruitt, Vice President of Operations
In her role as Vice President of Operations at EMS|MC, Kate is responsible for all billing operations functions, to include process efficiencies, organizational structure, call center methodology and operations management. She joined EMS|MC in 2005 as Operations Manager for the West Point, GA, office formerly Ambulance Billing Consultants, Inc. Prior to EMS|MC, she served as Director of Operations and Finance for InView, a subsidiary of InterCall, a telecommunications corporation, for 10 years. Kate holds her CAC certification from the NAAC and is a graduate of Troy University with a Bachelor of Science in accounting. She is an avid Auburn University football fan and lives with her family in Clemmons, NC.
Anna Woodruff, Vice President of Client Relations & Marketing
Anna Woodruff joined EMS│MC in May 2014, and serves as the Vice President of Client Relations and Marketing. Her background in sales and account management helps her to evaluate EMS│MC clients’ strategic needs and work with the team to set goals and messaging accordingly. Anna began her career in the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area, where she held positions in corporate sales and account management, before moving into management. Anna’s background includes client-facing and channel marketing roles in healthcare, technology and the supply chain fields. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina. Anna holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and studied in the Graduate Management Program at the College of Notre Dame in Maryland. She lives with her family in Advance, NC.
Carrie Williams, Vice President of Human Resources
Carrie is a native of the Triad of NC and received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from UNC Wilmington in 2001. She began her career in human resources as a corporate trainer with GMAC Insurance (now NGIC). After working as a trainer for two years, she moved into a recruiting role and then on to a business partner role. In 2012, Carrie became the Director of Human Resources for International Market Centers, the world’s largest operator of showroom space for the furnishings, home decor and gift industries headquartered in High Point, NC and Las Vegas, NV. In February 2015, Carrie joined EMS|MC as the Vice President of Human Resources where she brings infectious energy and a team-oriented approach to employee engagement, training and performance management.
Bridget Handley, Vice President of Learning & Development
Prior to joining EMS|MC in February 2015, Bridget worked nearly 20 years in higher education settings. For the last eight years, she was the Corporate Director of Student & Career Services for a chain of colleges in the Southeast and traveled weekly to one of nine campuses located in seven different cities. She brings award-winning expertise as well as in-the-trenches experience in training, mentoring, analyzing deficiencies and action planning, creating and delivering various workshops. Bridget earned a bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University and was awarded a Teaching Assistantship by the same. She earned a master’s degree in corporate and organizational communication while teaching approximately 250 students a Library Research Methodology course each semester. Once she discovered that even the seemingly boring course could be fun, she never left the field of education.
