EMS Management and Consultants Awarded Four New Contracts for Third Party Billing of Emergency Medical Services
Seeking Improved Financial Performance and Patient-Community Satisfaction
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – July 2, 2014 – EMS Management and Consultants (EMS/MC) announced today that it has been awarded four new municipal contracts.
Newport Fire Department and Morehead City Fire Department from North Carolina and St. Charles Fire and EMS Department and Rock Township Ambulance District from Missouri, each awarded EMS contracts for third party billing of emergency medical services that will commence in the next 60 days.
Each community performed a rigorous review not only into the efficiency of invoicing and collection of ambulance transport billing but also into the quality of service delivery to the patients and community as a whole. In each case, EMS/MC’s track record of success as the largest emergency services billing specialist in the country got them included into the review. However, it was EMS/MC’s demonstrated commitment to delivering superior patient satisfaction and transparent financial reporting that made the difference as there is a growing trend among municipalities across the country to deliver greater value on each tax dollar.
“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with these great communities,” added Jeff Loney, CEO of EMS/MC, “as the leader in EMS billing, we are dedicated to helping improve the financial performance of these agencies to help expand their capacity to serve their communities.”
